While you're here, make the most of your stay by exploring our region! Here are a few suggestions :

Agen : as oval as a rugby ball, Agen's famous prunes have been a popular delicacy since the Middle Ages. Each year, a lively prune fest takes place on the last weekend of August. What else can you do while you're in Agen? How about a lovely bicycle ride along the Garonne canal? The canal bridge is quite interestng to see!

Bordeaux-Bègles : most rugby matches take place at the Chaban-Delmas stadium. The atmosphere and architecture are quite unique : this is world's first covered stadium built without pillars. The architecture of the brand new Matmut Atlantique stadium is amazing. In fact, you can take a guided tour while you're here!

Brive : Don't miss the Tourist Office's boutique 100% gaillard gift-shop with its famous polo shirts and mustaches! Be sure to stop by Denoix distillery and try its walnut specialties before you leave!

Pau : Enjoy the bon vivant spirit of Pau, the birthplace of King Henry the IVth, by acquiring a "pass gourmands" from the Tourist Office. This pass takes you on a tour from the covered market, to the delicious city centre boutiques! Just a few kilometres from the château, the jurançon vineyard is a treat for the eyes and the tastebuds. Did you know that continental Europe's oldest golf course is located in Pau? You can also go kayaking in the area's white waters or place your bets at Pau-Gelos national racecourse.
